AGARTALA, Jan 8 (TIWN): Tripura’s many opposition leaders like Ratan Lal Nath leaning towards BJP as they pitching political correctness to benefit Central Govt. After TMC MP Sudip Banerjee was arrested at West Bengal, Trinamool brought allegations against BJP led Central Govt for taking revenge against Trinamool leaders via CBI, whereas Sudip Banerjee was arrested not being instructed by Centre but in link with Orissa Rose Valley Chit Fund scam. Congress also blamed the same although stressing the matter in a different angle. According to Congress CPI-M is closely linked with Modi party and this is the chief reason why CBI is not interrogating in Chit Fund cases of Tripura. But being a Congress leader, MLA Ratan Lal Nath who conducted a press meet on Saturday but instead of chosing Congress Bhawan Nath held the press meet independently at Press Club for his press conference.
Even though a child knows that CBI is controlled by ruling party in Centre– but Nath strongly claimed that Modi has no power to conduct any CBI inquiry against Tripura Chit fund cases. CBI has no link with the Central govt and it works fully in independent manner to investigate any case.
However question raised at Press Club, why CBI is not coming in Tripura? In answer Nath said that CBI will never come in Tripura unless it gets any hint against the crime 'massively' held here. It’s fully upto the state govt's report to CBI whether CBI inquiry will be held or not.
As Tripura has been sent wrong data on Rose Valley,so CBI never came across Tripura’s biggest ever chit-fund scam even after the company looted maximum number of public money.
Ratan lal Nath said that at West Bengal CBI has arrest Sudip Banerjee in connection of him with Rose Valley at Orissa. CBI will not take action against Tripura Chit fund case, unless it finds any seriousness allegation in this case.
“If the CPI-M state Govt wants it can easily call for CBI investigation against Rose Valley as more than 97 crores already unearthed as lotted by Rose Valley. High Court asked for SIT to investigate as the state Govt never showed any interest in CBI investigation. Now if the state govt tells High Court that it wants CBI investigation against chit-fund groups, High Courts also will not have any problem in it…..”, said Nath.
“From the beginning CPI-M has taken plan-wise steps to ensure that Rose Valley never comes under any CBI investigation. In 2013 with an aim to cancel CBI inquiry against Rose Valley the cases were sent with a very minimum account, so that no CBI inquiry could occur in coming future”, Nath added.
“But the Modi Govt has no link with the delaying CBI inquiry against Rose Valley and other chit fund cases in Tripura. The responsibility to call CBI is fully upto Tripura Govt’s report”, claimed Ratan Lal Nath.
