AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): Who is the actual beneficiary of the Rose Valley Park and Rose Valley’s multi-crore business in Tripura ? Various opposition leaders are sweating day-night to find out the answer but till date noone could solve the puzzle behind Rose Valley park’s massive business in Tripura. In a solo press meet called on Saturday evening at Agartala Press Club, MLA Ratan Lal Nath drew the attention of media into Tripura Rose Valley’s long-standing honeymoon with CM Manik Sarkar, top CPI-m leaders like Gautam Das. With 100 % accuracy backed by documentary evidence, Ratan Lal said that Tripura Govt since 2015 to 2016 August didn’t take any tax from the Rose Valley Park, whereas the park is running its full business there.

Pointing on the backdrop of Rose Valley park property acquisition, Nath said that in total 40 Acres (100 Kaani) of land is there under Rose Valley , more than half of the land belong to Tribals and Khash lands. 

“Whereas among 100 Kani 33.14 is Khas, the rest 17.5 kani is of tribals, which were taken without giving any compensation to them and ‘Khas’ always means for the government”, Nath said. 

“At West Bengal, Barasat location, Rose Valley Park was seized by State Govt and Enforcement Directorate,CBI irrespective of which party is ruling there….”, Nath added.

Referring how “desperate” was Manik Sarkar to save Rose Valley, Nath said on 2013, 12^th May Chit fund reports were sent to CBI. Among all the cases, 3 were Rose Valley cases with the Case No. under West PS 140/2013 the amount was shown as Rs. 5,400/-, whereas in the Case No.  141 /2013 the whole amount was shown as only Rs. 10,000/- whereas in Case No. 132/ 2013 “No amount” was sent. Thus in total the amount came with only 15,4000/- which CBI said “it’s too minimum to come under CBI”.

“Most interesting matter is that the 3^rd Case i.e. Case No. 132/2013 was actually done by Tripura Govt. whereas other cases were doing by private lawyers”, said Nath.

“Later the Case No. 132/2016 which was shown with zero balance, after proper investigation it came out with Rs. 97 crores 84 lakhs under West PS. This is enough to prove that the Tripura Govt is much more desperate to save Rose Valley in anyway”, Nath added.

“Another confusion is there that Centre has link with CBI, whereas CBI is fully independent and only state govt can call the CBI in its state”, said Nath.

“CBI will not come in Tripura if it doesn’t find any chain between other states where CBI inquiry was held in chit-funds. TMC MP Sudip Banerjee was linked to Orissa Rose Valley and thus he was arrested. The Central Govt has nothing to do with that”, said Nath.

“But plan-wise it was delayed as the CPI-M top leaders were fully associated with Rose Valley”, Nath said.

“Now question arises, why opposition talks about only Rose Valley…?... this is because it’s the 10 times more ponzi scam under chit fund”, Nath said.

MLA Ratan lal Nath as a part of investigation, himself visited Rose Valley park on Saturday where he paid Rs. 60 as entry fee. But before going there he queried the Finance Dept. about Rose Valley Park, but the Dept. said ‘Park is closed long-back !’

However, Nath further said that after entry for car parking there one has to pay more Rs. 25 and for boating it charges Rs. 125. The boating areas was Govt’s land, which is Khash-land or water-body.

This is how Rose valley is making money year after year and Manik Sarkar is so desperate to save the Rose Valley that he relaxed the whole year 2016’s tax for the Park.

The tax relaxation to Rose Valley Entertainment Park since the year 2015……was told to Ratan lal Nath by Treasury officials on Saturday.

Tripura’s all powerful mircro-managing Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, without whose permission even an ordinary blood donation camp doesn’t get inaugurated, neither a stone laying ceremony anywhere in State – how such a multicrore Chit Fund scam Rose Valley’s business undergoing in full swing without Manik Sarkar’s active patronage.
