1311 houses damaged in earthquake, 108 families took shelter in relief camps

AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): Atleast 1311 houses were damaged in Tripura after earthquake had hit the state on Tuesday afternoon.
In this regard all the DMs had visited to various spots to take notes of earthquake affect in Tripura.
Following the report, PWD Minister Badal Choudhury said that many losses have been reported due to the earthquake, whereas the around 1311 houses were damaged in Tripura.
Unakoti and Dhalai Dist have been identified as the mostly affected areas.
1 died, 7 critically injured in that quake.
Apart from homes, hospitals, govt offices also faced major affects of the earthquake.
108 families have sheltered in relief camps at Unakoti and Dhalai Dists.
