AGARTALA, Jan 2 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress held a district-wise press meet in Tripura’s 8 district headquarters. In a press meet Congress Spokesperson Piyush Kanti Biswash at Congress HQ Agartala announced that Congress will conduct a massive protest here in Tripura, as a part of National-level protest against BJP Govt. with an affective move to demonetization. “Whereas Modi himself was involved in Sahara scam and took hefty money from that company even during he was acting as the Chief Minister of Gujrat; but no step had been taken against him”, alleged Biswas.Biswas also said that Congress women will lead the protest ‘in plates on their hands’ to symbolize the massive crisis began in Tripura after PM Modi suddenly announced about the note-banning.

Basically Congress will demand few questions answers as :

1. What’s the total amount submitted in Banks after demonetization?
2. What’s the percentage of black-money?
3. How much the corporate sectors have submitted?
4. What’s the number of fake notes nabbing?
5. What’s the status of surgical strike on Terrorist? What’s the percentage of decreasing terrorist-attempts at J&K?

 “Due to the demonetization many people left work-less, income became slow, business receiving major losses. But Citizens gave the Central Govt 50 days and they were ready to suffer in those 50 days for the sake of Country’s development. But unfortunately in Tripura and other states the note-crisis has not been ended. What’s the reason behind it?”, Biswas said.

As per national congress party schedule on January 5 Congress will gheraou all Collectors and SDM offices protesting against demonetization. Before that along with the whole nation District-wise press meets will be held in whole Tripura on Jan 2^nd.

Birjit Sinha further placed 5 questions of Congress High Command Rahul Gandhi. The questions are :

1.      From 8^th November what’s the report of Black-Money collection?

2.     What is the total loss including GDP during the 50 days of time-perios,

3.     How many people lost jobs, how many died?

4.     Why no compensation has been given to the victim families?

5.     Before 8^th Nov’s announcement how many people  deposited huge amounts of money in their own bank accounts?
