AGARTALA, Dec 17 (TIWN): Screaming over demonetization is on peak at Tripura Assembly, but at the same the Chief Minister as well as the Finance Minister are silent over the traditional petrol crisis of the tiny state. TIWN reported, after long hours of waiting the Durga Bari BOC’s ‘No Petrol’ sign was withdrawn but huge rush of people crossing 1000 people before each of the petrol pumps of Agartala were observed. Tripura Food Dept. informed that in state there are sufficient petrol storage. TIWN further reported that across Agartala City atleast 5000 people are standing before Agartala Petrol pumps. Radhanagar, Durgabari Chowmuhani, Ganaraj Chowmuhani’s BOCs’ have been overcrowded for whole day. Reportedly, due to the chaos going at Manipur and Nagaland the problem has increased here more. At the same time a machinery problem has occurred at Guwahati’s Betkuchitstha oil-centre which has led the situation further more complicated.

But before the problem at Guwahati had started, the petrol crisis was occurring in Tripura very frequently and when an issue has been found now, the ‘petrol crisis’ has raised its head, with the selling of petrol at high cost in black-markets.

However, the long lines before petrol pumps of Agartala can be observed anytime any day but no complaint raises against it as it has become a part of daily life. Altogether the cash-crisis and petrol crisis has turned the lives here miserable.

As per Manik Sarkar’s speech at Assembly public are suffering before ATMs, Banks since last 1 month; but what about the traditional petrol lines, LPG crisis and CNG queues in Tripura which the public have to face during the whole year?

Whereas Sarkar also raising complaints against the  PM’s absence at Parliament but he is simply silent over his own state issues.

Congress, CPI-M will send a joint report on Demonetization, the unsent Petrol Crisis Report remained unsolved, which the ruling party never raised before the centre except blaming  Assam's NH-44 condition.

Moreover on the day of Tripura Sundari Express train inauguration when Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu travelled from Agartala City to the Railway Station, the State Govt halted the petrol service on the Highway-located all the BOCs,so that no report can be sent to the centre via Prabhu.
