AGARTALA, Dec 16 (TIWN): Dec 15 is neither Cuba former President and Communist revolutionary Fidel Castro’s birth anniversary or death anniversary, remembering whom CPI-M holding many ‘programmes’ as before a month he passes away. However, nothing wrong to remember him but there are many ex-presidents of many countries are dying ever year, but nobody dedicates 2 minutes of silence in assembly to them after 1 month of death. CPI-M is remembering him not because he was the President of Cuba, but he was a Communist leader after all. But the patience of the opposition parties ended when along with Joylalita Jayaram and Kanpur train accident victims he was remembers, but nobody remembered Tripura's martyrs who were recently killed at Kashmir.

For the 3 persons  total 6 minutes of silence was observed, but nobody raised any voice for Tripura’s 2 Martyrs who died after few days of Fidel’s death at Cuba.

Shambhu Satmura died on Nov 23rd, whereas Chittaranjan Debbarma died on Nov 30 & Fidel Castro died on Nov 25.

If all of them were remembered then there would be no issue of criticism, but that didn't happen.

It was just on Wednesday that CM gave long lectures at Rabindra Bhawan to the College students, who were brought from Colleges in their class hours by SFI leaders about Anti-American policy with Fidel Castro’s Communist Ideology and how he beat the Americans. Now within 24 hrs CM has called foe unnecessary criticism against himself. What harm would be if the Assembly alos remembered the 2 Martyrs of Tripura, asked BJP.

CM was almost crying at RS Bhawan that world is forgetting Fidel, but what about Tripura’s forgetting the martyrs who would be remembered in every places, every occasions?, BJP said.

Apart from that already Tripura Forest Minister Naresh Jamatia’s red salute had hit the state, which was also criticized by the BJP here and said that such a minister who doesn’t know the basic manners should immediately resign from his post. "Giving red salute CPI-M has highly insulted the Martyr Chittaranjan Debbarma at Khowai, which is unacceptable", said BJP.

BJP also raised issue that why the Chief Minister doesn’t participate in the funeral procession of the martyr, whereas he was attending other programmes here.

"However, to save the face the Chief Minister later meets the martyr families, but why the govt never help financially to the victim families//". said BJP spokesperson M K Deb.

"Mamata Banerjee ruled West Bengal Govt gives Rs. 2 lakhs to the family, Akhilesh Yadav’s Uttar Pradesh Rs. 25 lakhs, Nitish Kumar’s Bihar Rs. 11.12 lakhs, but although in last 1 week 2 Tripura sons died, but nothing has been given to their familes", said Deb.

BJP leaders further claimed that Shambhu Satmura can be called a ‘Martyr’ as he sacrificed his life while fighting with Pakistan at J&K Battle. BJP said why the CM used “Can Be Called……”.

“However, being anti-nationalist is CPI-M’s nature but the way the ruling govt is showing its reactions against the martyrs are really shocking”, claimed BJP.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on later met the family members of Chittaranjan Debbarma, who was killed in a terror attack on an army camp near Jammu on November 29. But according to BJP why he goes one day after the funeral and instead of that he sent an irresponsible minister like Naresh Jamatia who comes back giving red salute.

Thus after that episode of Red-salute.... on the first day of the Assembly Manik Sarkar has offered another hot cake for Criticism, which led a huge protest rally named "Jangi Michil" by BJP at Agartala immediately after the Assembly had ended.
