AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): Chief Judicial Magistrate of Udaipur, has convicted one accused person namely Purnna Chandra Jamatia(35) S/O Sri Ananta Pada Jamatia of 115 Hare Bari, Uttar Brajendra Nagar PS Killa, Under Gomati District, U/S-153(A) IPC .
On 3rd March, 2012, KLA PS Case No. 2012KLA009 U/S-120(B)/153(A) IPC, was registered on the basis of Suo Moto compliant of SI Subash Mallik of Killa PS, against the accused person namely- Jadu Mani Jamatia S/O Unknown of Hare Bari, Uttar Brajendra Nagar PS Killa, Under Gomati District, forCriminal conspiracy to prompt in ground creating enmity in between different cast community and this harmony.
After investigation, charge sheet was filed by Inspr. Ashok Kumar Paul of CID(Orgn.) Tripura, Agartala, On 17-05-2013, against the accused person namely Purnna Chandra Jamatia(35) S/O Sri Ananta Pada Jamatia of 115 Hare Bari, Uttar Brajendra Nagar PS Killa, Under Gomati District, vide KLA PS C/S No. 07/2013 U/S 120(B)/153(A) IPC & 66(A) I.T. Act.
The trial Court on appreciation of evidence found the accused person namely Purnna Chandra Jamatia(35) S/O Sri Ananta Pada Jamatia of 115 Hare Bari, Uttar Brajendra Nagar PS Killa, Under Gomati District convicted U/S 153(A) IPC. Now the Court considered therefore the convict can be given benefit under Probation of Offenders act. Thus the convict released on Probation of good conduct instead of sentencing him at once to any punishment on his execution of a bond for 02(two) years and the same would meet the ends of Justice. with one surety of Rs-10,000/- to appear and received sentence when call upon during the period of 02(two) years and in the mean time to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
