SABROOM, Sep 24 (TIWN): NSS Day celebrated at Sabroom Town Hall.

To mark the launching of National Service Scheme in Sabroom,  NSS Day was celebrated . 

Sports Officer Debasish Bhattacharjee  handed over certificates to best NSS volunteers and blood donors. 

He highlighted the need for creating social awareness among students and appreciated their involvement in planting saplings and conducting medical camps in villages.

As part of NSS Day celebrations, a short film on awareness and a documentary on NSS journey were screened at Sabroom Town Hall.

In his address, he pointed the way the NSS was created and the service rendered by the students. 

Volunteer identity cards and board members card were also released during the occasion.
