AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): Citing example of Mamata Banerjee’s ruling at West Bengal where top most leaders like former Transport Minister Madan Mitra has suffered 21 months in Jail, due to his involvement in Chit Fund Scams, Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee said, “ After Trinamool’s massive win in 2018 Assembly Election in Tripura, action will be take all the culprits including Chief Minister Manik Sarkar due to his involvement in Rose Valley scam”. There is no alternative of development, and development is work of a Govt. If Mamata Banerjee can provide rice at Rs. 2 per Kilo, if she can provide bicycle to its 40 lakhs students, why CM of Tripura can not?------ as Tripura has only 37 lakhs of population. Addressing the gathering he said, the crowd itself is saying how much people of Tripura hates CPI-M who is misleading the state since 23 years. In Crime against Women Tripura comes 2nd, claims Abhishek Banerjee to show an example of so called Golden Era. Tripura will become the 2nd victory of Trinamool after West Bengal, he said. It’s worthy to mention here that since last 23 years, Tripura due to weak opposition parties has not seen political change.

Now it’s to be seen that the same leaders who couldn’t change CPI-M staying in Congress, how much they can hit CPI-M in 2018 election becoming Trinamool.

However, if development is the first & foremost duty of a govt then what Manik Sarkar has given to its people, question remains. Mamata Banerjee after the thumping victory in assembly poll, hiked  10% in Pay Band for the state gov't employees of West Bengal, which has been effective from 1st July.

In compare to West Bengal Tripura govt. employees are getting less than 50 % of pay scale than the Central Govt.

Neither Chief Minister in Tripura has any desire to bring industry, margin unemployment—resulting in chaos in Tripura.

Moreover, corruption in every depts. Has gripped the state. In this situation people are giving huge responses to opposition parties. Now CPI-M is trying to qualify in the next election-2018, to secure the position for next 5 years.
