AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): Although Tripura Chief Minister’s hitting comments against Indian Prime Minister at NE Industry Summit has become controversial, but CM says whatever was said, he has no repent about it. Opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman asked CM the reason behind such disrespectful comments, but CM said, “Whatever I said, I said in cool mind”.

Manik Sarkar said, the pre-condition of development is very much important which is peace & tranquility. India has around 35 crores of illiterate & more than 20 crores of unemployed.  50 % of this country’s mothers, children are suffering from anemia & the Ministry of affairs has miserably failed to upgrade the condition of Northeast.

However, such comments against own country is acceptable in a national gathering, but before outsiders from Japan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Mayanmar, Russia CM’s speech was shocking.

He shouted, “Northeast states are suffering from Terrorism, & but the persons at Centre are Exploiting Northeast ! This is the reason why groups are emerging demanding Independent India”.

“They never wanted Northeast to upgrade”, CM continued his political, anti-BJP remarks.

Manik Sarkar crossing all his limits hitting PM Modi, referring with partisan issues of India-Pakistan, Independent issues and CM indicated that BJP is a result of all such groups.

He also mentioned about NE’s groups who are demanding separate Northeast just because of the Prime Minister.

But when Trinamool protested, Manik Sarkar calling Trinamool as BJP’s agent said, “I said the right thing. I’m Indian & I have no repent about what I said”.
