AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Being disturbed by so much of monitoring in every projects ongoing in state, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Thursday at Pragna Bhawan on the 2nd day of NE Industry Summit said, “States has no power at all. All belong to the Central Govtâ€.
“States should given with more powers”, he said.
Crying over funds he said, “The maximum revenue collected from Tripura are taken by Central Govt”.
“Due to lack of power, the state govts are unable to develop the infrastructure there”, he said.
“NE has Forest resource, natural resource human skilled resource. But to develop NE’s infrastructure------is Central Govt’s responsibility. State has nothing to do with that”.
It’s worthy to mention here that Tripura in last 23 year’s regime has seen corruption in every departments including Forest, Industry, RD, Education. But when the BJP led Central Govt came in power it created much problems to the corrupted states rulers.
