Protest held against 42% gap with Central Pay scale

AGARTALA, Sep 11(TIWN): Tripura Employees Committee raised voice to implement Pay Commission in state, along with various other Demands.
According them, govt employees in Tripura are deprived from Central Pay and Pay band since the beginning.
In addition yearly revised increment paid after 1 year 5 month later, causing huge loss for the central govt.
Apart from Tripura, every states paid this Central allowances. Even no youth wants to come in this teaching profession in state Govt. for poor salary.
Their Demands were: Release Salary Discrimination of State employees and to give Central Pay Scale, 42%allowance including 20%allowance, to provide facilities to state pensioners equally to the Central Pensioners etc.
