AGARTALA, Sep 3 (TIWN): There are many NGOs under Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s regime who without any ‘good’ work try to lick the huge amount of fund every year.
Without spending the received fund in the name of NGO, a section of people intend fill their personal bank accounts with the central govt. provided money.
However, with the coming of NDA govt. at Centre such organizations are really facing hard-times as now they can not directly grab central fund.
Reportedly, NGOs are feeling the heat under Modi regime as from now the office bearers of registered NGOs are required to appear in persons before Ministry officials this year for getting their annual grants.
Moreover, some theatre groups now have registered as NGOs have asked to prepare plays on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and take them to school.
Thus huge resentments are there within the NGOs of Tripura as they are unable to enjoy the butter of central funds without any ‘Good’ work.
