AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar during his speech at Assam Rifles ground on the occasion of India’s 70th Independence Day said that Tripura will be connected fully with railway service within 2019.

From South to North every places will be connected by railway tracks. “We are holding discussions regarding this with Central”, Sarkar added.

However, breaking protocol CM also criticized the BJP Govt. saying that Central Govt. is not at all cooperating with the state govt. However, whereas everyone knows how the BJP led Central Govt. had initiated development in Tripura by train service expansion in whole North East India, CM was trying to dump his fake story onto the people of Tripura and said, “Railway actually was a long demand of CPI-M”.

CM further explained a long story (The same story which he told at Agartala Railway Station during Delhi-Agartala train inauguration)  about how Student Union of CPI-M including Manik Sarkar involved in that protest.

Criticizing the earlier central govt. he said, “Whenever  we placed our demands for railway it had been rejected. No reasonable answer was given to Tripura’s people about railway. The central Govt. has deprived Tripura always since the beginning of Independence”.

However Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that at Red Fort his government had decided to complete around 118 projects worth Rs 7.5 lakh crore of previous government which were pending for years. The Prime Minister said that he himself had reviewed development programmes, adding that if a project faces a hurdle, it is a barrier to the nation's development.

But CM of Tripura was just busy to slamming the central govt. and his opposition parties.

Instead of telling the masses about the plan and programmes of state govt. in this coming year, CM was busy in criticism. However, he was utter silent about Unemployment, Poor Pay scale, DA and various crimes in state.

It’s worthy to mention here that what CPI-M couldn’t do in last 23 years, the central Govt. has done this in last 2 years but CPI-M trying to impose how the railway was brought in Tripura with yearlong protest of Communist.
