ONGC to organise state level bicycle race on August 14

AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): With the aim to mark the diamond jubilee celebration of ONGC on 14th August 2016, ONGC Tripura Asset is scheduled to organise a state-Level bicycle race Championship for boys and girls.

Asset Manager S C Soni will flag off the race from ONGC Garba Ground, ONGC South Colony on August 14.
The race will begin from ONGC Garba Ground.

The race has been divided into two categories, 30 kms for the boys and 15 kms for the girls.

Prize money of Rs. 10, 000 has been kept for the winner while the 1st runners-up and 2nd runners-up will get Rs. 5, 000 and Rs. 3, 000 respectively. Apart from those three consolation prizes of Rs. 1, 000 will also be given in each category. Last date of entry for the event isAugust 13, 2016. Arrangement for food and lodging of outstation participants has been made.

The 30 km route for the boys would cover ONGC Garba Ground (starting point), ONGC Bank Chowmuhani, ONGC Main Gate, Hapania, Amtali, Tripura University, Babul Chowmuhani, Kasari (Surjomani Nagar), Chowmuhani Bazaar, Sekerkote, Uttam Chowmuhani, Gokul Nagar, IOC Plant, SDM Office Bishalgarh and back along the same route to ONGC KV Ground ONGC North Colony. 

The 15 km route for the girls would cover ONGC Garba Ground (starting point), ONGC Bank Chowmuhani, ONGC Main Gate, Hapania, Amtali, Tripura University, Babul Chowmuhani, Kasari (Surjomani Nagar), Chowmuhani Bazaar and back along the same route to ONGC KV Ground.
