AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): Finally Tripura railway tracks have kicked off another new commercial journey on Friday. In the maiden journey of fuel cargos via train,Tripura has witnesses another glimps of development, understanding the importance of connecting the rest of the country with railway service, which makes things faster in cheaper price.

In 2016 Modi’s railway gift to Landlocked state Tripura, has released all the chains of obstacle from Tripura’s development. This land-locked state is  now becoming free to easily communicate with rest of India.

People gathered at Churaibari to see the  event when 21 tankers in total comprises of 19 petrol tankers and 2 gas bullets entered the state to  meet an end to the acute fuel-crisis. In total 6000KLpetrol,12KLdiesel,14 ton LPG entered on Friday.

The inauguration of the journey was marked by senior Division engineer JP Nigam, Area Manager Badarpur NK singh,  IOC Depo Manager Dharmanagar Abitabha Chowdhury, Director Food P Basu, E Director Dipankar Roy and many others.

Fulfilling the promise made by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu at Agartala Railway Station, to help the state of Tripura by sending fuel cargoes via train, the Northeast Frontier Railway started a Roll On Roll Off (RoRo) service to carry trucks loaded with fuel on flat-wagon goods train. IOCL officials have marked the inauguration of the first RoRo train service at Churaibari railway station with petrol and gas bullets.

Tripura was witnessing the worst condition in roadway due to PWD’s corruptions held yearlong under Communist Govt. in Tripura, also the Congress Govt. at Assam leading acute fuel crisis in 2016 and other commodity crisis in state .In that situation also CPI-M Govt. in Tripura was blaming the central govt. by saying that the govt.is not at all cooperating and CPI-M also asked to import fuel by train in Tripura.

CPI-M Ministers who claimed high on the Delhi-Agartala express train inauguration programme at Agartala railway station, are must be clueless, if the new central govt. would not extend railway in NE then how Tripura govt  would manage the situation?

Demand which raised from CPI-M, the ruling party in Tripura for special trains to carry oil tankers for Tripura following 2 months of petrol scarcity, and Suresh Prabhu, Central Union Railway Minister had immediately announced that the work on this demand will start soon.

Just after 2 week’s of promise the tankers have entered state Tripura to diminish the ongoing fuel-crisis.
