AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): Piling up crores in the account of CPI-M party by depriving the employees from their deserving DA, the mass looter CPI-M is all set to appeal in Supreme Court against the issue of clearing 31% of DA. Talking to TIWN correspondent, Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said the preliminary work is almost done, Finance movement has already moved the file and rest of the thing will be done in the stipulated time. It is alleged that Manik Sarkar’s CPI-M manipulating High Court’s order of disbursing 31% long pending DA to hapless Govt employees as a tool to pile up crores of Party funds in the name of fighting case in Supreme Court. It is to be mentioned here that Tripura High Court has ordered the state govt. to pay 31 % DA unless the govt. here doesn’t take any proper DA system and Pay Commissions implement. However, challenging the decision of the High Court over clearing 31 percent DA, state government has decided to move to Supreme Court. However, it is alleged that Government has decided to appeal to Supreme Court against the High Court order regarding release of balance DA.

The Tripura government will move to the Supreme Court challenging the Tripura High Court verdict that it had to pay pending 31 per cent dearness allowance (DA) to its 209,000 employees and pension holders. After the latest four per cent release on July 14, the dearness allowance of Tripura government employees and pensioners rose to 83 per cent, while the central government employees are getting the allowance at 125 per cent.

High Court Judge Subhashish Talapatra in a divisional bench announced it.

Court has ordered to give the 31 % DA since 1/1/2009 to 27/8/2011, in 3 instalments.

So the first instalment will be started from 1/7/2016.

By increasing 4 per cent DA for the pensioners and state government employees the difference between the state and central employees still remained at 42 per cent. High Court has ordered Manik Sarkar Govt to pay the 31 % DA due since 1/1/2009 to 27/8/2011, in 3 installments. So the first installment supposed to start from 1/7/2016. But instead of receiving expected DA, Chief Minister issued a mere 4% DA to employees.

But the cunning Manik Sarkar instead of giving 31% DA challenging the High Court order by appealing in SC to deprive the employees further. After the order of High Court, 4% DA was released by the state government though nearly 50% more is pending Source informed that CPI-M has decided to collect over Rs  8 to 10 crores from the employees as donations.
