AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Sunday, during a blood donation camp held at Agatala tried to woo the vote banks by blessing a girl-child, and sharing dais with her, who gave flower bouquet to the dignitaries.

Manik Sarkar also gave the flower bouquet to the child in return. CM was attending the blood donation camp held at Skylark Club premises at 10 AM.

But Chief Minister there repeated the same practice of blessing someone in left hand, which raised much controversy at that moment.

It’s worthy to mention here that CM also came under much controversy earlier also when he blessed Olympic competent Dipa Karmakar, after she qualified for Rio Olympic.

Dipa Karmakar also to play in Rio on Sunday evening with CM’s left hand blessing.
