Ambassa, May 11 (TIWN): The historical verdict of the High Court towards termination of 10,323 serving teachers those who were appointed 2010 onwards under different categories like as Post Graduate, Graduate and Under Graduate in the state caused instant reaction among the service holders of Dhalai district also.
Teachers who have been serving from 2010 are approaching towards regularization in the service. This verdict of the High Court is no doubt a major setback for those serving teachers, which is the centre point of discussion throughout the Dhalai district.
Concerned teachers are in a fix about their social security. State ruling government is only consolation for them as because most of the affected persons believe that the government must appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the verdict of the High Court.
The High Court has directed the state government to complete a fresh recruitment process by framing fresh and specific recruitment policy within December 31, 2014. Order for a fresh recruitment by observing all criterion raised a lot of questions before persons concerned that if the terminated teachers are even reappointed whether their service seniority would be maintained or they are to wait for a term of another five years. What about their age? All these questions have come forward.
