PANISAGAR, Aug 5 (TIWN): Corruption hits Panisagar block once again, when an RTI applicant disclosed that a Govt. teacher is looting daily-labours wages showing him as a REGA-worker !

In the year 2014-15, Govt. teacher named Dipal Chandra Das has taken atleast Rs.21,399 via Panisagar block with a REGA Job card. His REGA job card was issued from the block itself.

The incident occurred under Panisagar Agnipasa Gram Panchayat under No 3 ward. Although Dipal Chandra Das is a teacher of Bilthai Primary School, but surprisingly he was occupying Job card. Such an incident shows why Tripura govt. has failed to sustain all the poor people are with REGA job cards.

Reportedly, Dipal Chandra Das, S/O-Nripendra Chandra Das with the job card no. 03/ 17 Agnipasa Gram Panchayat was getting Central REGA fund at free of cost via the account number 8086020002273. The fund was taken from 2014, January 1^st to 2015 December 31^st. The total days of his fake man-days under Dipal Chandra Das’s name is 144 mandays.

However, at free of cost he grabbed Rs. 21,399/-. Sources said that every year he takes REGA funds like this taking the opportunity of the ruling party’s close-mate. He is a well-known CPI-M leader there.

Now it’s to mention here that is it the so called Golden Era of CM Manik Sarkar, where there is no proper distribution of MGNREGA funds?

Whether CPI-M blames the central govt. for slashing MGNREGA funds, this is the Example, that what actually is done with the central sponsored funds.

On July 18, 2016 CM during Kalachara block inauguration said that the Kalachara block is  one of the examples under communist era, which shows what is called rapid development ! He also blamed Central Govt. for depriving Tripura and for not cooperating with the states.

But what will Manik Sarkar say now?? This incident which shows how a teacher is also benefited with Modi’s REGA fund at free of cost.

But CM Manik Sarkar in North Tripura on that occasion had established an example of how to fool people by blaming a Govt. who is sponsoring the fund, whereas his (CM’s) own corrupted officials are looting central funds. The then Tapan Sinha BDO Panisagar is allegedly responsible for his favour to a CPI-M cadre like Dipal Chandra Das.

Tripura’s maximum blocks are under huge corruption.  But Manik Sarkar said how development has been brought under communist era.

Whether he claims for massive and faster development in rural Tripura, but in actual the massive corruptions held under RD Dept. in various subdivisions has left the villages without survey also.

In 2014-15, atleast 36 blocks were left without audit in Manik Sarkar’s regime in Tripura. The works were going without any record and the funds are using without any calculation under Tripura RD Dept.
