AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): Although via press meet TMC MLA Ahish Saha told media about the Chakka Jam to be held on Saturday, but across the state Trinamool has failed to jam the traffic so far. The gathering of Trinamool in various spots ended with 20/ 25 persons.

In a press meet Asish Saha has announced that they will go for Chakka-Jam on July 23d, protesting against the continuous petrol/ diesel crisis in state. On that day for one hour the vehicle movement will be stopped fully.

The time of Chakka Jam was booked from 10 am to 11 am. But traffic remained unaffected due to TMC’s lack of Men-Power.

As 23rd is Saturday, so TMC chosed the office time to halt the roadways. Due to the road blockade the office goers and common people were ready to suffer for an hour, and so people  on Saturday have got out fast from homes.

But TMC Chakka Jam seems more flop, as all offices are running smoothly.

It’s to be mentioned here that state Tripura is acutely suffering from petrol/ diesel crisis since last 1 month. But this is due to NH-44’s pathetic condition and due to black marketing of fuel.

However, sources said that Trinamool is doing all these as with the arrival of WB Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee TMC will use many vehicles which needs much fuel. As fuel wasting will become a matter of controversy, on August 5, August 9 so TMC is doing street drama an crying for Fuel.

On July 18, TMC President Ratan Chakraborty during a press meet expressed concerned about the ongoing fuel crisis which may halt the political campaigning before the arrival of Mamata Banarjee on 9th August.

Keeping eyes on West Bengal Chief Minister’s arrival in state Trinamool Congress is going to organize many political rallies from August 1st to August 8.Moreover, on August 5 there will be a huge gathering along with mass rally of Tripura Trinamool at Agartala. On that day people from most of the corners of the state are scheduled to arrive in Agartala to support TMC.

However, TMC President has expressed concern about the ongoing fuel crisis and said, ‘As people from far distance will come to Agartala on 5th August and 9th August, so party needs many vehicles with full of fuels”.

As the petrol pumps are running dry, the political gathering of Trinamool party on coming days may become a matter of criticism for public. In this situation petrol crisis is a Hot topic for protest for Trinamool, and they can save their party image before wasting thousand and thousand liters of petrol on August 5 and August 9.

Thus TMC has come on road with the protest rally, as they are going to spoil many fuels on coming days.
