UDAIPUR, July 21 (TIWN): Arrogant DM Gomati Sonal Goel ultimately succeeded to obtain Inter Cadre Deputation to Haryana . On 20th July Addl Secretary to Gov't of Tripura vide his notification No.F.35(3)-GA(P&T)/09(Vol II) issued the order of her transfer as Inter Cadre Deputation from Manipur Tripura Cadre to Haryana for three years. Sonal Goel will soon leave the state and will report to the Chief Secretary of Haryana. Shri Raval Hamendra Kumar, IAS will be the new DM & Collector of Gomati District. A top level official of Gomati District told TIWN over phone ," SonalGoel likely to attend the meeting with the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar to be held on ThrusdayAnchor . And it is expected that after this meeting she will hand over the charge to Raval Hamendra Kumar. " Sonal Goel has never been interested to serve in Tripura. Earlier I the year 2014 she appealed for Inter Cadre Deputation from Manipur Tripura Cadre to Haryana .

But on 17th October 2014 Appointment Committee of the Cabinet , Ministry of  Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions , Department of Personnel and Training vide No.37/12/2011-EO(SM-I) rejected her appeal. ( Copy of Cancel order attached ).

The tenure of Sonal Goel as the DM Gomati will be remembered mainly because of the gross failure of law and order situation. Indeed, during her tenure Gomati District has become the hub of rapists. 

Hundreds of women including minor girls were ruthlessly raped by so many culprits. Again many women were tortured brutally in her in-laws. Inspite of being a woman she was a failure to give protection to the women living in her district though she remained busy in making campaign of her fabricated success in Beti Bachao Beti Padao through her Facebook Page DM Gomati Fan Club and by a group of puppet jurnos and a few local papers.        

Here are a few examples of her failure as an administrator :-

1) On 19th July 2014 a police vehical of R K Pur Police station ( TR03-0986) driven by the intoxicated ASI Tapan Das killed three persons namely Gouri Saha, her sister Laxmi Saha and Debasish Deb(Bapi) early morning at Chanban .

Even after mote than two years Magistrate Level Enquiry under Commission of Enquiry Act1952 followed by CID Enquiry nothing is sorted out so far and no one is arrested in this regard and the accused police personnel are enjoying the liberty of moving freely. Quite interestingly acting on the loop holes of  Sonal Goel's report a section of police persons , obviously those belonging to CPI-M lobby succeeded to protect guilty ASI and innocent Dilip Debbarma , the driver was Sen to prison. A top level official of Gomati District police said ( unwilling to reveal his name) ," CCTV footage showed that Tapan was driving the car on that black day. "

     Sonal Goel promised that a person from each of the victims' families will be provided with govt job. But nothing happened so far. Merely  Rs 10000/- each were handed to them as compensation . No body is yet to get any further assistance from the administration though victim's families hoped that being a woman she would sympathize with them.

2) Her role as DM has always been under question regarding the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalaya at Udaipur . Many hold that administrative mismanagement from DM Gomati's office is chiefly responsible behind the non-establishment of KV till date

3) As the Governing body chairman of the Gomati District Hospital she failed to provide healthcare facilities to the people living in Gomati District. Rather the hospital lacks basic amenities like specialized doctors , pure drinking water , laboratory facilities. It is interesting to note that R K Pur MLA Pranajit Singha Roy sanctioned Rs 5 lakh from his MLA fund  for the construction of Drinking Water Tank in the District Hospital . But she failed to utilize the fund and after six months the fund has been returned back leading great sufferings to patients and their relatives everyday.

4) Acting as puppet under CPI-M party's influential leader DM Gomati Sonal Goel allocated Govt Khas land of 0.20acre under Natunbazar Tehsil for the construction of CPI-M Natun Bazar Local Committee party office. The decision on this issue was taken on 22-01-2015 in the meeting held in DM Gomati's office.

5) It was due to her complete failure that DM Gomati's office has become the hub of International Passport Racket. Number of Bangladeshi citizens managed to get International fake Passport through this racket.

    TRIPURAINFOWAY.com published back to back detailed and authenticated news of International Fake Passport racket . Same was published in BDTV24News and some of national media based on TIWN news. But DM Gomati instead of acting properly quite arrogantly threatened our former Udaipur correspondent from her official land phone number telling TIWN the ethics of journalism. She also did everything that she could to harass the TIWN former Udaipur  correspondent( who is a reputed teacher of a premier institution of Udaipur)  through her officials and in collaboration with a group of CPI-M party leaders of Udaipur simply out of her arrogancy and jealousy.

6) It is alleged that Sonal Goel also got involved with the CPI-M controlled land mafia gang of Udaipur. More than 80 lakes some including more than 100 years old were filled up during her tenure with a section of employees of her office complex playing a pivotal role in getting the permission orders for land diversion passed without having any public interests behind them.

      Thus, Sonal Goel's term as DM Gomati will always be seen as a gross failure of administrative mechanism led by her . However, a group of her puppet jurnos would miss her badly as they may not be able to enjoy luxurious trip on govt cost they used to have by promoting her as successful administrator  though her transfer creates an atmosphere of happiness even among a large section of officials in the entire Gomati District as she was known for her arrogant manner .
