KAMALPUR, July 15 (TIWN): The problems like water logging for hours during rains on the National highway at Ambassa remained a problem for years.

In the Municipal Council area has almost three thousand people living on khas land and forest land. The people of Ambassa got long been demanding for a girls’ school and a college. Early fulfillment of all those demands remained election promises of the presently occupying CPI-M on the eve of the urban bodies’ election. But till date no positive steps could be adopted by the authority.

In this context, BJP Ambassa Mandal Committee arranged for a protest meet at Ambassa market area last night. In the meet, the speakers condemned the role of the present governing authority of the Ambassa Municipal Council for their true desire to resolve the matter.

And the real motif of the CPI-M behind that remained to make the people to roam behind the party like puppet. The BJP leaders criticized the role of the present authority and threatened to launch massive propaganda if the demands not met shortly.

BJP Mandal President Gopal Sutradhar, Shyamal Shil and others spoke in the meet. A protest rally roamed the parts of Ambassa before the meet.
