AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): Tripura Voluntary Blood Donation Association (TVBDA) organized a blood donation camp at Agartala Vivekanda Maidan complex on today.

 Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is leading from the front to popularize the concept of VBD - he has donated blood four times after becoming Chief Minister in 1998.

Earlier Chief Minister explained that all my party workers, along with various club members, students, youths and social workers across the state have been asked to donate blood and to encourage everybody to donate blood voluntarily to save the lives of the ailing.

 It can be noted that Tripura holds the top rank in Voluntary blood donation in the state.
