AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): No solution of Cooking gas crisis in Tripura as Cylinder-Import from Silchar halts due to NH-44’s pathetic condition. Due to NH-44’s pathetic condition since last 15 days, LPG bullets are unable to enter in state, leading huge LPG crisis into state.
The ongoing National Highway problem affecting Tripura’s economy, creating crisis within the state but the Govt. is less concerned about it.
Although renovation for Assam has been started but for Tripura there is no scope for road development. From Churaibari to Kadamtala via Kurti the road is in its worst shape. The until Longtarai the deplorable condition continues.
But as the condition is same there is no chance for market price reducing shortly. Thus there is also no solution for the cooking gas crisis in state, as the bottling has been reduced in state.
Reportedly, in Bishalgarh Bottling plant the bottling has been lessen, and import of cylinder from Silchar has been stopped since few days which has increased the crisis one more step. Importing of cylinder via gas-bullet from Silchar, has been stopped due to NH-44’s condition.
Apart from LPG crisis of food items has hit the market with sky rocketing prices. Tripura’s life line NH-44’s pathetic condition has remained as the prime reason behind suffering of vehicle drivers during the whole year as their business, time, exported items all destroys due to bad road condition.
Before 1 week the price of LPG was 1000-12000/- but it has gone to 1500/1600 now. In black market the rate has gone to up due to the crisis in market, and taking the opportunity business with dealers and black market are on top. .
Earlier talking to DM Sandeep Mahatme, he said that the NH-44 work is inspecting by the DC of that District and the work is under ADC and some companies but without any progress. It’s worthy to mention here that NH-44 although the longest ever unsolved problem, but the state govt. has no concern to renovate it fast.
The deplorable condition of National Highway 44 – the only road connectivity that links mainland India with the eastern part of Meghalaya, Barak Valley in Assam, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura – has for a long time in pathetic shape.
Although the central Govt. pushing the North Eastern states to develop the transport system, but her the state govt. has no concern at all.
But the CM of Tripura claims for the rapid development held in state. Whereas Tripura’s roadway is suffering from massive corruptions held under PWD, Transport Minister here is pushing the central govt. for more and more fund allocation for and for Airport Expansion.
