Tripura Assembly Speaker begins one to one conversation with rebel Congress MLAs to find reason behind MIGRATION to TMC Party : for cash or under pressure ?

AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Tripura Assembly speaker Ramendra Chandra Debnath on Monday began one to one conversation with the recently joined TMC candidates after quitting Congress.

Conversation meet with the Assembly speaker Ramendra Chandra Debnath began on Monday at Tripura assembly.

To mark the commencement of the session, Assembly speaker spoke with MLA Dilip Sarkar who after serious controversy joined TMC recently.

It is to be mentioned here that like this away Assembly speaker will held discussion with all the 6 candidates of TMC who recently joined TMC after quitting congress.

Former Congress leader Sudip Roy barman earlier handed over a resignation letter and similarly assembly speaker accepted their resignation. They have given official resignation from the party and they are have officially  join TMC in presence of TMC VP Mukul Roy.

However, it is to be mentioned here that Dilip Sarkar and Pranajit Singha Roy were not present during handing over the letter to speaker but have expressed their willingness to join TMC over the phone to Assembly speaker.

With the aim to rejuvenate the set up of the TMC party in the state, TMC General Secretary Mukul Roy arrived in the state on a one day visit.

As TMC Chief Mamata Banerjeee after winning a landslide victory in WB election Mamata Banerjee clamoured and said that “My next target is Tripura” however, with Mukul Roy’s arrival it seems that Mamata has started implementing her words. Several leaders from Tripura have established contact with her for the past few days.

With green signal from TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee, 6 of the former congress leaders have now officially joined TMC. The leaders are Sudip Roy barman, Asish Saha, Biswabandhu Sen, Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl, Dilip Sarkar, and Pranajit Singha Roy.

It is to be mentioned here that Reportedly, PCC Chief Birajit Sinha suspended Former opposition leader Sudip Roy barman and former President of Tripura Pradesh Youth congress Sushanta Chowdhury from the party after they have resigned from their post raising voice against the alliance with left front.

Former Opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman and Tripura Pradesh Youth congress Sushanta Chowdhury have already resigned from the party and in their resignation letter they have mentioned that the resignation letter has been submitted in protest of the unethical alliance between Congress and the Left Front in West Bengal Assembly Election.

Besides, they also mentioned that with this alliance the party has compromised with its values to form this alliance only to grab power and the hopes of the people of Tripura.
