Major parts of Udaipur facing load-shedding more than 24 hours

AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): A major part of Udaipur City is facing load-shedding problem after rain and storm hit the subdivision.

Since few days, due to rain a part of the town in same way faced load-shedding problems crossing more than 36 hours.

However, TSECL / Power Dept had recovered the lines but again after one-day rain, with heavy winds condition turned same.

The main affected areas have been identified as Kakraban road, few part of police line, and many interior parts inside ADC areas.

Even in town areas also few homes or areas are reeling under darkness.

Unbearable summer heat and incessant rains, blowing winds paralyzed Tripura's power distribution network.

Tripura is reeling under power crisis due to the massive corruption held under TSECL, for which the TSECL is unable to pay dues to power generation plants NEEPCO (due Rs 180 crores)

After every rain or monsoon winds, Tripura's interior places, cities like Udaipur, Amarpur, Kailashahar facing day long power cuts.

However, the last 1 day rain and storm has turned Tripura’s many areas into darkness as load-shedding has occupied the areas. It’s causing acute water crisis.

Most parts of Tripura including Agartala city are hit with load-shedding problem. Every little town and villages in Tripura suffering from electricity crisis and water crisis and other problems and no political party cares about it.

TSECL, power Ministry here in Tripura do not care anymore for the load-shedding and other problems held in Tripura everyday.
