AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Whereas every year there are reports of blood unit’s wastage Tripura CM and other Minister everyday are busy to attend in various blood donation camps across the state.

Tripura Chief Minister was found with Congress MLA Gopal Roy on Sunday in a blood donation camp held at East Shiv Nagar area, with the initiative of Anik Club on the occasion of Rabindra and Najrul Birth Anniversary.

CM urges people to donate blood as its good for society and also for own self.

However, MP Jiten Choudhury also attended in a blood donation camp held at College Tilla Fishery office organized by DYFI.

Although it’s between a day’s gap that CM and other  Ministers attend blood donation camps here and there but he is unaware of 134 liters of blood run to waste in 1 year.

Reportedly, in last 1 year total 134 liters of blood run to waste due to the lack of preservation facility in our state but on the other hand blood donation camps are getting organized daily in our state.

Tripura hospitals hit with lack of infrastructure, lack of bloods and other equipments but Ministers found to claim high in various blood donation camps.
