AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Amtali police on Saturday produced one Jayanta Majumder before the court in allegation of murder of his own younger brother Kokhon Majumder at their own house on Friday last.

Talking to TIWN correspondent on Saturday SDPO said that police have arrested the accused and on Saturday the accused was produced before the court.

However, demanding 5 days of police remand police have produced the accused before the court, added SDPO Amtali.

Further investigation will be done after court orders police remand to the accused.

It is to be mentioned here that with anger and frustration, Elder brother Jayanta Majumder over much hidden anger against his Younger brother Kokhon Majumder has attacked his younger brother on Friday last and left him dead on the spot.

It is to be mentioned here that the accused brother Jayanta Majumder was in jail for few month in allegation of attacking his brother to death few months back.

The incident is reported from Hotat Bazar under Panchamukh at Charipara.

The mother of the deceased alleged that the elder brother Jayanta has killed him and ran away.

Getting alarm huge number of people along with Amtali Police station official reached the spot.

Everyday where reports of several murder cases flashes on the screens of media channels, it seems like Tripura police is playing idle role over the incidence.

Despite of several incidents, allegation has been raised that Tripura police is least bothered to deal with the cases and to arrest the main culprit.

Though the State Government has established several police stations in the State, yet the Tripura police allegedly fail to arrest the culprits and to take strict action.

However, if we go through the reports, the capital has virtually become a dumping ground for bodies. Reports of the unidentified dead bodies have become a daily feed for the news papers and the channels in the so called Golden era of the left rule government.

However, on the day of incident police rushed to the spot and started with the investigation. However, Tripura police said that further investigation is going on.
