Is CPI-M trying to create China like atmosphere in Tripura ? Why is Manik mum on his party cadres' gundagiri? Is democracy dying under Manik's regime ? Why is CPI-M fanning the fire of communalism ?
TIWN

AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Continuous rule of CPI-M especially under the leadership of Honest (?) Manik Sarkar is turning into a den of intolerance as well as inhumane. Over the last one decade especially after 2013 CPI-M is turing more and more ruthless day by day and quite mysteriously Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, who has been branded as an 'Honest(?)' man by his party seems to remain mum in all the crimes held recently. If Manik Sarkar being the Home Minister indeed likes to have any intention to prevent such inhuman activities none of his party cadres would dare to indulge in such activities.

1)      On the eve of Laxmi puja in 2014 Soma Majumder was barbarically tortured by a group CPI-M cadres of assuming the role of' hyenas' at Tata Kalibari area of Chandrapur under East Agartala police station.

2)    on September 2nd 2015 CPI-M backed parties called for a 24 hour’s strike. When Sabroom Court Magistrate Saurabh Saha was on the way to court he was verbally attacked by the CPI-M leaders. But after a while Magistrate entered the court along with his 2 more officials and the police escorted him to the office. But when Saha was doing his official work, the CPI-M goons thronged into the office and attacked on him.

3) On a Govt employee namely Tutan Dey ( working as a Computer Operator in Jolai Bari Forest Range Office) was forced to commit suicide after he was unnecessarily insulted by a group of CPI-M cadres claiming that he was having an elicit relationship with a woman though the woman's husband thoroughly denied such allegation of cadres.

4) A few days back CPI-M cadres attacked BJP Vice-President Subal Bhowmik at Amzadnagar area without any provocation in which Subal Bhowmik narrowly escaped with his life.

5) A teacher in Ramesh School was forced to make apology in front of his student by touching his own ears and even by going through a process of kneel down by a group of SFI supporters

6) Urin Therapy of SFI goons imposed upon a student in Kamalpur College for becoming a member of ABVP .

The list may include many more incidents . All these indicate that CPI-M party has acting like its patrons in China. In China as all know there is no democracy in practical. If someone raises voices against the Gov't and the Communist party , the result is disastrous.

In 1989 in Tiananmen Square students , intellectuals and common people came out in protests with  common grievances including inflation, limited preparedness of graduates for the new economy, and restrictions on political participation. The students drew upon Western-inspired ideals and called for democracy, greater accountability, freedom of the press, and freedom of speech, though they were loosely organized and their goals varied. At the height of the protests, about a million people assembled in the Square. The Gov't declared Martial Law to prevent this movement and Chinese Army killed protesters indiscriminately.

In a 1990 article addressing the question, Time magazine asserted that the Chinese Red Cross had given a figure of 2,600 deaths on the morning of June 4, though later this figure was retracted. A declassified NSA cable filed on the same day estimated 180–500 deaths up to the morning of June 4. Amnesty International's estimates puts the number of deaths at several hundred to close to 1,000, while a Western diplomat that compiled estimates put the number at 300 to 1,000.

Same thing is happening in Tripura these days. Manik Sarkar led Govt has simply turned out to be a gov't of a particular party where no voice against the party and gov't is not listened with patience. As such crimes ate on the rise . But it is no surprise that police administration does not seem to take such cases seriously because in almost all the cases the culprits are known for their allegiance to CPI-M party.

To make the matter even worse CPI-M seems to create a situation of communal violence for its own political agenda. After the historic victory of BJP in Assam and Mamata's landslides vicorty in West Bengal , CPI-M state Secretary Bijan Dhar , after the two day long state committee meeting , categorically told the Press ," Presently BJP and Amra Bangalee  are increasing their strength in the state. "

This statement is quite significant in the context that Amra Bangalee has less than 200 workers or supporters in the state. Then why CPI-M state secretary isbso much worried about them? Actually CPI-M's main agenda is simply fanning the fire of communalism among the tribals and non-tribals kike it did way back in 1980s. The outcome of that politics was the ethnic violence of 80s. Similar situations are now being created by the party in the state. As such state has witnessed that Amra Bangalee workers and supporters even gheraod Chief Minister's residence recently.

On behalf of the people of Tripura , we would like to produce following questions to simplify the condition of present scenario :-

1) Has Manik Sarkar & Co lost the minimum sense of  patience   to remain in power at any cost ?

2) Is CPI-M party under the leadership of Manik Sarkar trying to create a China like atmosphere where no one can have any right to raise any question about the supremacy of CPI-M ?

3) Why is the Chief Minister cum Home Minister silent against the increasing number of crimes in Tripura ?

4) Is the administration becoming like a party puppet organ ?

5) Is CPI-M leafing the state to another communal riot by encouraging and assisting Amra Bangalee to increase its strength ?

6) Why is the Honest(?) CM mum over the crimes committed by his party cadres ?

7) Is democracy in the state almost on the verge of death ?
