AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Tripura Education Dept. has once again disappointed the people, with Class-12 and Madhyamik’s poor result for the academic session 2015-16.
According to the reports, In ADC area the pass rate is 58.47 % whereas in last year it was 66.40 %.
Lack of teacher in rural Tripura and private tuition business in town areas are also responsible for such a shameful result.
On Wednesday also students of Bishnupur High School at Dharmanagar, has gone on strike for an uncertain period of time as they don’t have basic facilities in their schools. Teacher crisis, lack of infrastructure has hit the Education-quality in rural Tripura.
According to the reports the school doesn’t have any drinking water facility, no boundary walls, no school-field, no fans in class rooms. The school presently has only 4 teachers and no Headmaster.
However, this is nothing new for Tripuras rural schools.
Whereas on the one hand central govt. is expecting that every state’s students are being provided with Quality Education on the other hand the ‘Quality Education’ is a distant dream for the student of Tripura rural schools.
Tripura’s maximum rural area based schools are suffering due to lack of teachers, insufficient infrastructure, poor mid-day-meal and above all---- studies in those schools are for name-sake.
The highest literacy rated state Tripura’s pathetic condition in Education system has put a question mark about the real utilization of ‘Right To Education’ in all over the country.
However, it’s to be mentioned here that behind the cause of such poor quality’s education, reasons are many among them the 3 biggest scams held in Tripura Education Department can be mentioned, which flaunts Tripura’s Education Quality.
