AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Commenting over the recently declared TBSE results for Madhyamik and TBSE HS (+2) for the Science, Arts, and Commerce, Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty expressed disappointment over the entire structure of the board results.

Talking to TWIN correspondent on Thursday Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said that although the results are declared for both TBSE Madhyamik and TBSE HS(+2) but the result could have been much more better.

Expressing disappointment over the structure of the results he said that the result is very disappointing, expectation is much higher from the students of the state.

Further commenting over such fall in the passing percentage of the results he said that it is natural the result will keep on fluctuating every year as different kind of students sits for examination every year, and we cannot expect the same kind of results every year, added Minister Chakraborty.

The structure of the results solely does not depend on the teacher it also depends on the capability of the students, the results are given based on the answers written by the students, says Minister Chakraborty.

TBSE Madhyamik and HS (+) results brought shame on CPI-M ruled Tripura's education system as Education Minister himself said that results could have been much more better and couldn't hide his frustration on massive fall in the passing percentage of the results of the TBSE.

From the structure of the results it is clearly evident how cadre-raj  have can destroyed a State’s education system. Tripura’s education system deteriorated beyond expectation as every school, teachers are forced to turn as CPI-M cadres to fill up CPI-M rallies state wide. Ruling CPI-M govt. shamelessly claim for highest literacy rate in state, but in realty such poor results depicts the poor quality of Education in Tripura. CPI-M’s wrong policies, cadres, SFI dominated school environments have destroyed education system which resulted poor teachings in schools, party politics spoiled education scenario.

However, TBSE president Mihir Deb has declared the results for Class-12 (Arts and Commerce) for the academic session 2015-16 through a press communiqué on Thursday at the TBSE board office.

The passing percentage in Arts is – 74.04 % whereas in Commerce – 71.83 percent. However, in ADC areas the passing rate is just 58.47 %. However the results for the science steam is already declared long back, but the Tripura board then came under huge controversy after it published wrong results for science stream on May 21. Later after revaluation the result was re-published but the Arts and Commerce result was delayed.

The Tripura Board Class 12 examinations were held in the months of March and April. Students from Art, Science and Commerce streams appeared for the exams from March 2- April 7 2016. After passage of three months of Examination, TBSE has announced the result of Class-12 (for Arts and Commerce Stream) on Thursday.
