AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): CM Manik Sarkar on Thursday inspected the passing out parade of the 554 recruited constables of 83rdbatch at police training academy.
Altogether 554 recruit constables of 83rd batch took oath and participated in passing out parade at KTDS police training Academy parade ground.
However, CM Manik Sarkar addressed the program as the chief guest. DGP K.Nagraj, along with other dignitaries remained present in the program.
Sankar debnath, Principal KTDS police training academy administered the oath to the trainees. Along with parade a spectacular yoga show was presented by the trainees led by recruited constable Litan Rudra paul, who had won National Yogasana championship in the year 2010.
The 554 recruited constables had joined the PTA in the first week of June in 2015 and their basic training started on 15/6/15. In indoor training they leaned about different provisions of law including IPC, Cr.PC, Evidence Act, PRB, and other laws.
They also learned about Forensic science, police ethics, community policing, police ethics, and others. They also learned about outdoor programs.
During the basic training they also participated in the different social and co curricular activities like blood donation, plantation and gardening, sports activities, and other duties were also performed.
As a part of the program, CM Manik Sarkar has handed over trophies to the winners including:
1. Best in Indoor: R/C 22 Bhusan Sil
2. Best in Outdoor: R/C 380 Iswar Debbarma
3. Best in endurance: R/C 359 Amit Debbarma
4. Best in Firing: R/C29 Subal Dey
5. Best in Conduct: R/C248 Abdul Sattar
6. All round Best: R/C 22 Bhusan Sil
