AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Tripura State BJP leadership lacking aggressive political attacks on ruling CPI-M even after multiple violent incidents by CPI-M cadres statewide. Unimpressive screaming over the CPI-M’s attack on BJP leader Subal Bhowmik in South Tripura, State BJP is holding press meets, rallies, meeting with DGP K. Nagraj but BJP president Biplab Deb is hesitant to demand Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s intervention to order central probe on wrongdoings of Tripura Police and CBI investigation on multiple Chit Funds scams from MGNREGA to NHM scams by ruling CPI-M Govt. Tripura public expected new BJP president Biplab Deb to don the role as aggressive opposition leader, but so far public are disappointed with the soft, go-slow attitude of Biplab Deb on CPI-M’s corruption to mass violence. Recalling the incident of June 2, when BJP Vice president Subal Bhowmik was brutally attacked in South Tripura, BJP leadership met DGP K.Nagraj on Wednesday as none of the accused were arrested in Belonia after this incident. BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik along with other BJP supporters were brutally attacked by CPI-M cadres which left 3 seriously injured and 7 injured.

BJP President Biplab Deb, Vice President Subal Bhowmik held press meet to announce about BJP’s ‘democratic movement’ after this June 2's violent incident.

Addressing the press meet on Wednesday, Biplab Deb said that, “The former Chief Justice Deepak Gupta before leaving the state via a press meet told media about the raising violence in state, and his word are becoming true as Tripura once again facing harder time with his departure” Recalling the ‘Attack on Judge’ incident, BJP President told media that that the same attackers, who attacked on the Magistrate on September 2nd, 2015, is relishing the “Mafia-Raj” at South Tripura.

In earlier press meet, BJP Vice president Subal Bhowmik said that one of the Chief accused in “Judge Attack Incidnet” is Triloket Sinha, who was seen at the place of violence of Thursday night. Narrating the incident Bhowmik further said that BJP was celebrating the 2 year’s of Modi Govt.’s governance at centre, where 7 families  joined BJP from CPI-M at Amzadnagar, Hrishyamukh Indo-Bangla area. But suddenly, so many cadres in a planned way with sharp weapons had attacked upon Subal Bhowmik and to save Subal

Bhowmik further claimed, “I will repeat, this is a ‘Planned-Work’ by CPI-M cadres as within a minute they gheroued us in an organized manner and 3/ 4 people were beating a single person on that time”.

Bhowmik added, CPI-M further stopped them on the way when they were trying to go to hospital, however, they anyhow managed to go to the police station.

“When police sent the BJP members to hospital, then Asish Dutta, Panchayat President arrived at Police Station and shouted against the police”, said Bhowmik.

Bhowmik also mentioned that whether BJP has asked for police permission, but they had been provided with only 3 police personnel, which shows how CPI-M dominates over police there.

“In the middle of the town amongst 100 people BJP members were beaten, such a Talibaan Raj has been set up by the local CPI-M cadres, for which Minister Badal Chowdhury is responsible”, said Bhowmik.

“CPI-M Mafia Triloket Sinha who was the chief while CPI-M cadres attacked upon the Magistrate I saw him before the Police Station”, said Bhwomik.

BJP President, Vice President and other members are going to meet the SP of South Tripura Bhanulal Saha in this regard.

Although FIR has been lodged against 3 chief goons named ---1. Bhanu Dhar, 2. Nabi Mia, 3. Chabbar Mia(a Govt. employee in Agriculture office at Belonia), but none of them are yet arrested.

In this regard BJP will start massive protest across the state. BJP will start a ‘Democratica movement’ from Friday and also ask the Central Home Ministry to take action against this shameful experience.

However,  asking about what action to take against Badal Chowdhury in this regard, Biplab Deb said that people will give CPI-M lesson in this coming election.

On June 8, BJP again gave a press release protesting against the silence of police at Belonia, but surprisingly in that press release no accused names were published.

Biplab Deb’s leadership is under scanner as BJP unlikely to dent CPI-M’s votebank with this kind of weak political actions.
