DHARMANAGAR, June 8 (TIWN): Teacher crisis, lack of infrastructure has hit the Education-quality in rural Tripura.
In demand of basic facilities to provide in school, the students of Bishnupur High School, Dharmanagar North Tripura has sat on strike for an uncertain period of time with few of their demands:
They demanded,
1. To provide fans in every class rooms,
2. To finish building construction work as fast as possible,
3. To arrange drinking water facility,
4. To make boundary walls soon,
5. The whole school area’s road-renovation,
6. To renovate the school-field.
7. To provide the school with a head master.
The school presently has only 4 teachers and no Headmaster.
