AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): Without having any practical reason CPI-M party's Tripura unit has invented Horse Trading in the political culture of the state . At present situation political analysts say that Jiten Sarkar's episode will have a long term effect in the state politics . In future also if such situation arises all will put the blame on CPI-M for paving the oath of such negative politics and that too unnecessary . Since 2010 after leaving CPI-M Jiten Sarkar has been one of the prominent persons to attack CPI-M in as many occasions as he can. Invariably he was seen to blame the CPI-M as the enemy of Scheduled caste , scheduled tribes saying that CPI-M and its leaders always follow the policy of divide and rule . Quite mysteriously the same Jiten Sarkar joined the CPI-M soon after resigning from the post of MLA. Even CPI-M State secretary Bijan Dhan too welcomed his re- inclusion in the party. As apart of the reports given by the Melarmath lobby that Jiten Sarkar when agreed to join CPI-M all on a sudden security in front of his residencde was tightened. And after being assured by Bijan Dhar that in the by-election he will be nominated as CPI-M candidate, Jiten Sarkar took a U turn and decided to join CPI-M again.

It is learnt from a top level source in Melarmath that party gave responsibility to Gautam Das , Pabitra Kar , and two more leaders to negotiate with Jiten Sarkar after a high level meeting in the Melarmath.

However, in less than 24 hours of this episode 6 rebel MLAs of Congress officially joined Trinamool Congress in presence of  All India TMC Vice President Mukul Roy . Though MLA Dilip Sarkar could not make his presence because of his ill health and MLA Pranajit Singha Roy is now in Bengaluru to get his son admitted in higher studies both made their intention clear that they are with Team Sudip . Even Speaker Ramendra Nath is learnt to have spoken to them to be confirmed about their position. And after this the Speaker has declared the Trinamool Congress as the main opposition party in the state legislature .

With this CPI-M is bound to face tough challenge not only from Trinamool Congress but also from the BJP . During the last one and half years , especially after Biplab Deb assumed the Chair of state BJP President , the party is continuously increasing its organization in every parts of the state. Now with the joining of 6 MLAs to TMC , it is certain that TMC too will start all guns blazing . Tripura is already submerged I deep rooted corruption and irregularities . Both the opposition parties will now start raising such issues before public and it would certainly test the patience of CPI-M.

During the last three years Tripura has been going through its dark phases because of the following reasons:-

1) Termination of 10323 teachers' jobs by the High Court. The matter will be raised for hearing before the Prime Bench of the Supreme Court .

2) Massive scams in MGNREGA , RMSA, SSA, PMGSY , NRHM in almost all Sub divisions and blocks

3) Irregularities in the recruitment of Firemen, Sub-Inspector, Forester

4) Termination of 113 Asst Professors' jobs by the HC due to massive irregularities and corruption of TPSC

5) Intentional deprivation imposed upon the state gov't employees , who are having the lowest and poorest pay structure in the country

6) Increasing number of incidents including minor girls and the inefficiency of the police force.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, a hardcore enemy of CPI-M wont lose any chance to attack the gov't on these issues . Soon after her landslides victory in the recently concluded West Bengal polls Mamata Banerjee categorically mentioned ," Our next target is Tripura. TMC will nourish the state to remove the CPI-M from power. "

There is no doubt that Manik Sarkar and Co won't lose any chance to create split within TMC . And again it will try to give life saving Oxygen to Birjit Sinha & Co simply to survive though from Tuesday Congress party in Tripura has simply become a signboard.

Meanwhile after the historic win of BJP in Assam party has come out very sharply even in Tripura. That the party is very much serious about Tripura became clear when a high level central BJP team led by MP S S Alluwahlia came to Tripura soon after the attack on state BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik and some other Karyakartas in Amzadnagar. Thus, BJP too will not give a space to CPI-M easily.

If both BJP and TMC comes closer responding to the greater interests of the people of Tripura , there will be serious reasons for concern for Manik Sarkar and Co.
