Raj Bhawan is being constructed with Rs. 30 crore’s of investment which will be also Earth-Quake-Safe building. Governor is worried about his luxary but Tripura’s various schools, buildings, railway platforms and road-ways, hospitals have been remained in deplorable condition due to the poor management and poor quality construction material used by CPI-M Govt and its contractors. Tripura's obese Governor Tathagata Roy never took any interest like his predecessor P.B.Achariya in visiting interior parts of state to take first hand stock of miserable conditions prevailing in schools, colleges and hospitals.

Tripura's obese Governor Tathagata Roy, alongwith Transport Secretary Samarjit Bhowmik on Tuesday visited the construction site of the new Raj Bhawan at Agartala Capital Complex area near the secretariat building.

Governor also suggested many instructions to the workers on the site.

It’s to be mentioned here that with media highlight Governor inspected NH-44’s pathetic condition and also said that in whole India Assam-Agartala NH-44 is in worst condition.

However, CPI-M Govt. could not bring any  further progress in NH-44, but Governor is happy with the Governor's new  house construction.
