TU Result corruption:  TU distance education department hit with result corruption, students stage road blockade

AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN): After TBSE, now the distance education department of tripura university is hit with result corruption. According to the sources, huge corruption is reported with the results of Bengali subjects.

After the results were declared students raised voice against the corruption in the results.  It was seen that the results were not authentic according to the write up in the answer sheets in the students, however, some students also alleged of biased results in Bengali subject under distance education department  of Tripura University.

With reports of result corruption the students also staged road blockade.

However, Distance Education Director KB Jamatia also agreed regarding the corruption in the results and stated that fresh results will be published after proper evaluation.

Results corruption has become a regular stuff, few days back TBSE board results has also given a shock to the students of the state.

It is to be mention here that Just within few hours of the declaration of the TBSE HS (+2), the students received a major shock when the board declared the results invalid as the practical number of the subjects were not added in the results sheet.

TBSE Board President Prof. Mihir Deb declared the TBSE Result for class 12th science on 21st May through a press communiqué but just within a few hours of declaration of results the results were declared invalid by the board which has given shock tremors to the students.

After declaring the results in the morning TBSE board president has released a notice that the provisional results of science stream of HS (+2) stage examination uploaded in the website does not show the marks of the practical projects, and there are some mistakes as well.

The result declared in the website is full of mistakes and these results are not the final result as the results does not contain the marks of practical work.  Lacklustre attitude of the board leads to the harassments of the students and the guardians as well.

The Tripura Board Class 12 examinations were held in the months of April and March. Students from Art, Science and Commerce streams appeared for the exams from March 2- April 7 2016.

A total of 3319 candidates appeared the TBSE HS(+2) examination from different schools and a total of 2702 passed the examination.
