AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): With another major jolt for the Education Dept of Tripura, TBSE has announced the academic result for 2014-15 Madhyamik session on Thursday. The passing percentage has once more reduced with 66.14 %. In the last year whereas the score was 66.41 % this time it has been downed more with 66.14 %.
However, the passing percentage is high at South Tripura District with 75.77 %. Gomati Dist. ranks 2nd in passing percentage with 74.63 %.
Girls this year have made record amongst the top-rankers. According to the reports, Shrestha Deb has ranked 1st with 665 marks from Sishubihar. Anuska Sarkar who is also a student of Sishubihar is the 2nd topper with 663 marks. Subhra Pal from Umakanta Academy is the 3rd topper with 662 marks. Diptani Dey from Udaipur English medium school has achieved the 4rth rank with 658 marks.
Among all the students 2465 students have been passed under first division, whereas 3788 students have been passed in 2nd division and 15,403 students in 3rd division.
It’s to be mentioned here that consistently reduction in percentage rate for Madhyamik Examinations reveals the poor educational status of Tripura.
The Madhyamik Examination 2016 results has once again brought into limelight the poor “educational standards” of the state.
The results, declared by Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) this morning, shown the overall pass percentage very poor (66.14 percent).
However, a total of 49089 students from varied schools of the state are appearing in the examination
Overall trend of education is very disappointing across the State.
