KAMALPUR, May 11 (TIWN): The beating of a student belonged to a BJP supporter family at Kamalpur Degree College took interesting turn last evening when SFI demanded of being beaten by BJP supporters.

 In a press meet held at the Press Club last evening, the Divisional Secretary of SFI Subir Deb along with other divisional members Raja Majumder and Birajit Debbarma demanded that they were beaten by the 7 to 8 BJP supporters who went to College in the name of meeting the Principal in the leadership of Alak Deb.

 When they were asked that how could 7 to 8 people dare to even touch the SFI leaders in a college where all of the 1400 students belonged to their organization, they could not answer.

Earlier, the SFI leaders after the instructions of the party bosses filed a complaint with the police station. In that complaint they alleged that, the BJP supporters in the leadership of Alak Deb went to the college and forcibly enter the Council room during a meeting. They tried to molest the girl students.

And the BJP supporters seriously injured their divisional members including Suleman Ali, Debaranjan Das, Birajit Debbarma and Manoj Sinha. In protest, the SFI lodged complaint against Alak Deb, Gopal Sutradhar, Advocate Shyamal Paul and unknown some others.

 However, the entire claims and demands of SFI seemed very ridiculous to commoners.
