AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Former Leader of opposition Sudip Roy Barman has sent a sharp attack against the Congress High Command saying ,"AICC has suspended me for speaking against the unethical alliance with CPI-M in West Bengal Assembly Polls . But AICC should have suspended Adhir Ranjan Choudhury for misguiding the high command for his vested and personal interest. " Sudip Roy Barman made such remark in an interview with a Kolkata based TV news channel on Sunday . Saying this Sudip Roy Barman made it clear that he along with six more MLA's of the state are in discussion with Trinamool Congress leaders of Kolkata about the much expected merger . It is now almost certain that Sudip and his team will join TMC soon after the declaration of poll results in West Bengal. We haven't said 'yes' or 'no' yet but certainly we will take a final decision after 19th of May.

Replying to a question of whether they will join TMC or BJP Sudip Roy Barman said ," Leaders of TMC had talks with me asking me to join TMC.

It is now certain that we can't fight against CPI-M and Left Front from the Congress platform.  As such it is not possible us to remain in Congress . "

It is to be mentioned here that Sudip Roy Barman along with MLA Ashish Saha and former Youth Congress President Sushanta Choudhury went to Kolkata on Sunday . In the afternoon team Sudip met with Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Roy in a flat in Elgin Road  . During this meeting Sudip briefed about the strength of his team in Tripura. There is no doubt the Congress party has practically become a signboard in Tripura with most of the party men resigning from their posts .

Sudip Roy Barman blamed that over the years CPI-M cadres killed thousands of Congress workers and supporters in West Bengal and  Tripura . " As such we have asked the High Command not to form alliance with CPI-M as it will not only spoil the party's future in Kerala , West Bengal and in Tripura but also cause severe damage to the party at the national level . It is unfortunate that AICC has gone with those who actually misguided the party high command for their vested and personal interest . "

It is to be mentioned here that TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is also keen to take revenge against the Congress for their alliance with CPI-M . She is learnt to be furious against Sonia amd Rahul too for their attacking remarks against her and TMC made in recently held political rallies in West Bengal . And with the seven MLA's in Tripura likely to join TMC Mamata will surely keep her eyes on 2018 Assembly polls in Tripura . A highly placed source of the rebel Congress group told TIWN ," Whatever Sudip Roy Barman and other leaders are doing at present is purely under the instruction of Mukul Roy . And very soon Mamata Banerjee will lead the charge of anti-CPI-M platform in the state . After 19th May officially team will merge with TMC. "

According to TIWN source  TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee told Sudip that she will meet with Tripura leaders only after 19th May. At present she is busy with her election managers .  There is no doubt that known for her hardcore attitude against CPI-M , TMC supremo won't do anything in haste . Before taking the big challenge she likes to assured about the organizational strength of the rebel group of Congress. At the Same time Mamata will at least give instruction to Mukul Roy to discuss with current TMC leaders in Tripura like Ratan Chakraborty and Surajit Datta formally.

Speaking to Kolakata based TV channel Sudip Roy Barman tried to put pressure on AICC raising voice against Congress high command over his suspension issue. He said ," It is very unfortunate that from an one point agenda Rahul Gandhi has decided to form alliance with CPI-M to defeat TMC govt , a secular force . But whenever he visited Tripura and Kerala Rahul Gandhi asked workers and supporters to fight against the communists . This is nothing but a dual standard . For us it can't acceptable . Even if BJP has been in power in West Bengal , we can think that at least it is justified to defeat BJP . But what the high command did in West Bengal it is against the sentiments of thousands of Congress workers and supporters in Tripura and West Bengal ."
