AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): After being suspended by AICC Sudip Roy Barman and Sushanta Choudhury's supporters on Saturday showed for what they are known . Indeed, people of Agartala witnessed ' Gundagiri ' by a group of angry and indisciplined Congress workers in broad day light as they ransacked Tripura Pradesh Congress Headquarter located in Post Office Chowmahani . The way the supporters of Sudip Roy Barman and Sushanta Choudhury acted be termed as 'hooliganism ' . As expected police had to come to the rescue of TPCC President Birjit Sinha and other leaders , who were present in the party headquarter at that time. However, the incident of Saturday clearly showed that the expectations and aspirations of the common people of the state have no value for the power hungry leaders like Sudip Roy Barman and his ' right hand ' Sushanta Choudhury . The incident also raised many question marks about the future of Trinamool Congress in the state. If Trinamool Congress accepts these leaders in their party the party is bound to be crippled by ' group politics' even before it is properly being bloomed in the state.

And more importantly Sudip & Co has given an ominous sign that people of state will have face hooliganism in the hands of those indisciplined workers , supporters and leaders .

Then what will be the fate of so many anti-Left people who are eagerly waiting for the results of West Bengal polls to be declared on 19th May thinking that after this large number of Congress leaders and supporters will join TMC and then the anti-Left movement in Tripura will find a new dimension ?

It is now clear that Sudip and Co has made up the mind to leave Congress . Then what what does suspension or anything from Congress matter for them ? On behalf of the common people of the state

TIWN would like to ask these following questions before this so-called disgruntled Congress lovers gang :

1) Is a Party Headquarter a personal property of someone?

2) Who gave them the licence to vandalize party office ?

3) If they are certain to join TMC, what is their interest with Congress party's inner politics ?

4) Is it Birjit Sinha who suspended Sudip Roy Barman & Sushanta Choudhury or AICC ? Doesn't Sudip knows very well that AICC ordered it ?

5) If it is AICC then why did they intend to attack TPCC President and others and that too in party head office ?

The way Congress supporters acted on Saturday it was an indication that even after merger with TMC , Tripura may be heading towards the era of Samir Ranjan Barman way back in early 90s. When Samir Ranjan Barman was the Chief Minister of Tripura , Congress workers then turned the entire state into a den of criminalism.

Indeed, at that time it was simply a Gov't sponsored terrorisation being imposed upon the common people by Congress party workers . Will it be a repetition of the same situation ? Is Sudip too is following the footprints of his father ? There is no doubt that because of his pure failure as the Chief Minister as well Home Minister Congress party was simply left out of power with the Left Front came to the power with a thumping majority .

Sudip must be patient in his approach if he wants to gain confidence of the lakhs of people who are waiting for a strong and reliable opponent in the state. 

Sudip Barman must not forget the fact that, to fight against a regimented party CPI-M and defeat them in an election is a tough job.

Such types of incidents will surely fall heavily on his image as a leader of the people.
