AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN): Chief Secretary of Tripura, Dr Yashpal Singh, IAS, inaugurated new composite BOP Kaptoli. The chief guest was received and welcomed by Sh J B Sangwan, IG BSF Tripura Frontier in presence of Sh Yadvendra Singh, DIG BSF Sector Udaipur.

Many dignitaries of the state, senior officers of BSF and other agencies were present at the time of inauguration.

Border Security Force, the first line of defence and the world’s largest border guarding force is spreading its hand in all the manner to keep the border peaceful and to maintain the sanctity of International Boundary.

The establishment/inauguration of new BOP is adding one step ahead to dominate the bordering area. Establishment of composite BOPs are done to improve the living conditions of those BSF jawans at the border, who round the clock and throughout the year stay away from their families to maintain the sanctity of Indian borders.

Dr Yashpal Singh, IAS, lauded on the initiatives taken by BSF for the speedy program of establishment of proposed BOPs in the state. He also visited and seen the various facilities available in the BOP for the jawans and appreciated the active duties being done by BSF jawans at the borders.
