AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): The land-locked state Tripura which came under the threat of NLFT terrorist and similar others gangs has once again griped into tension after police along with Assam Rifle Battalions caught 2 terrorist leaders from the Bru refugee group. The two terrorists named Arnajoy Reang (29) & Doiloram Reang (36) was produced before the Karimganj court on Friday and according to the court’s order they have been kept in police remand for next 14 days.

Allegations are coming that the crisis among the refugee groups is emerging terrorist-mentality among themselves.

Talking to police the arrestees said that the refugee group leader has told the police that they do not any longer consider themselves as Indians as neither Mizo Govt. nor Tripura Govt. is really concerned about their future.

However, they also told police that soon they will send a letter to the central ministry level and surrender with full group and arms.

Across North Tripura and Mizoram-Assam they have been settled as terrorist groups.

It’s to be mentioned here that the Bru refugees’ future are uncertain and being refugee group in Tripura, they are no more considered as full citizen of Mizoram. However, the refugee camps of Bru community are undergoing various crisis resulting tension among the people.

Around 31,300 Reang tribals, who locally call themselves "Bru", have been living in seven makeshift camps in northern Tripura since October 1997---but their children has no future neither they have any option to live life in a better way, resulting misumnderstandings and lack of communication among the Brus.

It’s worthy to mention here that they emerged here after they fled neighbouring Mizoram following ethnic troubles after the killing of a Mizo forest officer.

Refugees have no proper school to go and the children being the offspring of uneducated parents and hapless governments, have no future and no life at all.

Political clashes and disputes between Mizoram & Tripura have left so many children’s future in bleak who are sidelined with the title of “Refugees”.
