AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): Following massive protests by CPI-M for less MGNREGA fund allocations, where the party claimed that the central govt. has deprived state Tripura with a poor fund, BJP state president Biplab Deb held press meet to give his reaction, at BJP office on Friday evening.
Addressing the media, Biplab Deb said that whereas the state govt. is engaged in massive corruption with central funds, then why the ruling party is blaming the central for funds?
‘State govt. trying its best to prove the central govt. as depriver’, said Deb.
Biplab Deb further mentioned that whatever the central govt. is providing that is enough for the state’s progress, whereas Tripura since 22 years of left front regime has not been observed any development yet.
He added, central is providing funds to every state, so nothing is lacking in case of Tripura’s fund.
Deb further mentioned about CPI-M’s huge protest rallies for Central fund, which are nothing but for show off and to demoralize the central govt.
BJP president added the examples of corruption under various RD Blocks, chit fund groups etc. to highlight the faults of Tripura Govt.
