AGARTALA, April 21(TIWN) : MLA Sudip Roy Barman, who has recently resigned from the post of Leader of Opposition , will address a press meet in Kolkata on 25th April . In this press meet Sudip Roy Barman is likely to highlight how Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is playing a drama - blaming and criticizing Congress party in Tripura and campaigning in favour of Congress-CPI-M alliance popularly termed as seat sharing . A highly placed source closed to Sudip Roy Barman told TIWN late on Wednesday night that Sudip Roy Barman will present before the press how Manik Sarkar is playing a dual role in his statement against Congress in public rallies in Tripura but supporting the same Congress in a round about way in West Bengal .Sudip Roy Barman himself informed about his press meet over telephone to a Kolkata based TV channel CTVN Plus on Wednesday night. It is learnt that Sudip Roy Barman has a collection of photographs of various rallies held in West Bengal in which Manik Sarkar was seen to urge the people to cast their votes in favour of Congress-CPI-M alliance where Congress and CPI-M flags and banners were seen side by side.
Sudip Roy Barman told the CTVN PLUS ( as claimed by the channel) that in Tripura he will spread these types of pictures far and wide making the common mass aware about CM Manik's false claim that Congress is an anti-people and a party only for the rich .
It is no surprise that invariably. CM Manik Sarkar is seen to throw sharp attack against the Congress in as many as occasions as he can.
But on Wednesday evening addressing an election rally in Rajarhath ,West Bengal Manik Sarkar was seen to move 100% from his stand.
He didn't utter a single word against the Congress . Rather in most part of his speech Manik Sarkar concentrated in attacking BJP on issues like intolerance, beef meat etc . Manik Sarkar , quite cunningly urged the voters to vote in favour of Left Democratic force without uttering the name of Congress .
