AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh congress Chief Birajit Sinha on Wednesday in a press meet at Congress Bhawan said that congress will bind one month of time to state government for clearing all the pending amount of the agents under chit Fund Company.

Addressing the press meet on Wednesday at Congress Bhawan PCC chief further said that  government will get one month of duration to take initiatives for clearing the pending bills of common people who has deposited their hard earn money in the chit fund companies.  If the state government fails to recover the pending amount of the people congress will hold massive protest in every corner of the state.

Urging to take initiatives for the investors who had lost their money and facing huge financial crisis, PCC Chief demanded the state government to take initiatives to return back the money to the needy investors.

It is to be mentioned here that the chit fund scam has left many investor in huge dilemma. Many poor families have also invested their money and as the chit fund companies have eloped the needy families are is huge crisis.  

It has been mentioned that due to the cut in the allotment of state’s fund the state lacks various developmental work.

Therefore, he urged to increase the allotment of fund to the state so that it can be used for the development of the State.

It is to be mentioned here that a district congress committee is reconstituted by AICC to implement the program as directed by AICC and PCC. However, Shyamal Majumder (Advocate) is selected as the working president for Belonia district congress committee and Narayan Datta is the working president for the sadar district congress committee.

However, in another notification in a press meet it was announced that Asit Deb is now the president of Pabiacharra bock congress committee Nitin Kumar saha as president for Teliamura block congress committee, sanatanu bhattcharjee as president for Krishnapur block congress committee, Subhas bhowmik as president for kalyanpur block congress committee, Debabrata paul chowdhury for pecharthal congress committee and Uttam Datta as president for Rajnagar congress committee.
