AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): In an attempt to discuss about 2 issues BJP held press meet on Tuesday at BJP office, Agartala.

During the press meet Biplab Deb, the state president for BJP told media that-----recently BJP leaders of Tripura (Biplab Deb & Sunil Deodhar) held a meeting with Rajnath Sing where with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

Biplab Deb was addressing the media and mentioned that due to the negligence of the state govt. illegal intrusion has been rampant here in Tripura via unfenced Indo-bangla border areas.

Sumggling of cattle and contraband items are very fluent through unfenced border areas, said Deb.

He also mentioned an incident where CPI-M cadres had attacked upon a BJP supporter named Kabita Koloi at Rangkhal para under Teliamura.

Although she lodged an FIR against Ishak Rankhal, but due to his strong connection with CPI-M, police has not taken any action against him.

However, according to Deb, the matter was informed March to the Governor of Tripura and Dr. Jitendra Sing (DoNER Minister).

However, union Minister told the BJP leaders of the state that the centre will soon interfere in such issues held in state Tripura.

However, during the press meet Biplab Deb handed over a compensation money of Rs. 1 lakh to the victim families who lost lives in the month of March, 2016 during BJP rally.
