TELIAMURA, April 12 (TIWN): The new Teliamura Sub Divisional Hosital which has been set up at Teliamura sub division with the facility of 100 beds is waiting for inauguration. The expenditure incurred for the construction of Hospital was Rs 27 crores.

Earlier, the patients from different areas of Amarpur, Taidu, Ompi have to rush to Agartala GBP Hospital and Tripura Medical College for better treatment. Hence, the hospital should be inaugurated as soon as possible for the benefit of the people. People has been waiting eagerly for the running of the hospital. People of Khowai district and the sub division are hopeful that the government would introduce modern equipments in the district hospital alike other hospitals. The government should inaugurate the hospital as soon as possible for the sake of poor people. Now, the question is when the government would inaugurate the hospital.

Section of people believes that for creating Teliamura Hospital is due to geographical location of the hospital as it is near the National Highway 44.

 New building of Teliamura Hospital is already completed to provide modern medical service. Infrastructure for modern medical service including blood bank, operation theatre, cesarean system, ICU etc are available here. Moreover sufficient staff quarters are also available here.   Road communication with rural areas with Teliamura is also satisfactory and most of the road is under PMGSY scheme. All kinds of vehicles and petrol pumps here .Above all plenty of medical shops are available with life saving drugs in front of the Teliamura hospital
