Tripura’s most disable Dept. under Power Minister Manik Dey left North Tripura in dark since 5 days

AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN) : 5 days have been passed that Damchara to Panisagar area, under North Tripura is suffering due to power-cut after rain had wiped out the electrical posts on that area.

Reportedly, on April 2 due to heavy storm and raining the electrical posts collapsed at Damchara to Panisagar road.

But till day no step has been taken to repair the electrical post, resulting power cut at North Tripura since 5 days.

Public are suffering from water scarcity due to continuous power cut. Mobile phones and other machinery items which are run by battery are no more usable, which has created almost a handicap situation at there.

According to the report although many times the power dept. was informed but nobody is taking initiative to repair the damaged part.

Moreover, risks of life are high at Damchara, as cables are left open for die. Surprisingly, being the power Minister Manik Dey who often claims tall regarding power service in Tripura is silent over the issue.

Reportedly in many places, except North Tripura public are suffering from such problems.

With the monsoon season arriving in the state, load shedding has become a common issue for common masses.

Where the civilians of the capital are facing prolonged harassment due to the unscheduled load shedding, there are number of families in the interior parts of the state who are yet spending the nights with kerosene lamp.

Once claimed to make the Tripura load shedding free, after several years has passed yet common mass are suffering due to load shedding.

Although the cities are decorated with lights and almost less affected from load-shedding but as far as the urban and interior parts are concerned, students are the worst sufferer.

The lines whichever are provided there at ADC and rural areas, are not given in proper manner, resulting in frequent load-shedding after a slight rain.

According to the report, once the power is gone due to some slight rain and thunders, it takes atleast 2-3 days to recover. The power dept. workers come and repair the lines temporarily, but again with the hit of waves the power goes away.

But at Damchara it has crossed 5 days they public suffering from power cut.
